The first two-game modes were released in 2017 as early access titles and Creative was released on December 6, 2018. Partly thanks to that he has managed to raise a whopping 300 million dollars … just the last month. Currently,
Fortnite can be played on PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox, Switch and iOS,
and this summer is also expected to be available on Android.
So much is the success that has reaped during these months, that it is expected that when it reaches Android, it reaches or exceeds such well-known titles Clash of Clans or Candy Crush, there are even those who say that it will overcome the viral phenomenon of last summer: Pokémon Go.
That is to say: it is possible that it rubs the barrier of 1,000 million dollars in income in just a few months.
So if you want to know why the Fortnite Battle Royale really is so successful, why don’t you try it?
To sum it up, Fortnite is a game released in August 2017 (i think). It was originally released as a mode known as Save the World, but in September, another mode known as Battle Royale came along and most of the player base went with it.
In Save the World, you play as several different characters, each with their own abilities. There are 4 main classes: Soldier (the one you get at the start), Outlander, Ninja and Constructor. The backstory to the game is explained at the beginning, a deadly storm came and turned 98% of the world into zombie like things known as husks. You fight these and rescue ‘survivors’ in an attempt to ‘save the world’ by getting rid of the Storm.
Battle Royale is different however, 100 people pvp, all against each other. There are different modes, such as Solos, Duos, and squads, as well as ‘LTMs’. These are fun little uh…. Minigames? (Dunno how to explain it) theres one with antigravity and snipers only as well as others like 50v50.
It is a free for all game. With 100 players to be exact. Be the last on standing to win the game. It is like hunger games and minecraft in one. Find guns (i would prefer a pump shot gun) find medkits that heal you and blue like potion that minimizes the damage you take. There is no hunger or stanama you need to worry about. Gather wood, metal, brick ect. You can use those items in a battle build yourself higher ground or make cover. In every mode you are going to want to stay in a a little circle throughout the game after a maximum of two minutes a type of purple rain AKA The Storm starts to swarm the map if you are caught in the purple like rain, you will slowly lose health until you die. There are more than one mods. You can play solo or dous (a team of 2) or play squads ( a team of 4) and the last mode is playground ( you can choose whoever you want to play with) this round last two at least an hour to where you can do a 1v1 or just practice your buliding skills. Epic games the creator of fortnite and tend to add modes that last for a certain amount of time. it could be movie related or a different video game or anything else. Every 3 months ( im not 100% sure if that is correct) there is a new season to the game with its own theme. Epic games is always changing the map and leaving little details and that tell you what’s going to happen next. They make the game mysterious with lots of backstories and theories you can come up with your own. The best thing about fortnite is something called v-bucks you can buy this in the game. v-bucks can let you buy skins backpacks pickaxes and dance moves ect
The best thing about the game is that you can play on PC PS4 Xbox and mobile it is all free
100 people jump out of flying bus and float down to earth with umbrellas, plastic birds, and other random stuff.
After landing on the ground, you start by default with a pickaxe, which you can use to destroy cars and walls and buildings. You can buy skins for this pickaxe to make it into a normal axe or into a sword and stuff.
Destroying buildings and cars gives you metal and wood and bricks, which you can use to build ramps and platforms and stuff.
After you’ve done that, you can find generically named guns of the “Assault Rifles” and “Pump Shotgun” variety lying about. Sometimes you can find treasure chests if you know where to look where you can get better variants of generic weapons.
In the map, there are “vending machines” where you can deposit materials you get from your pickaxe and obtain an rpg or a golden scar in exchange.
Not a great game overall, but it’s free, it’s simple, with not much strategy, and it’s easy, so it’s enjoyed by the younger community and people who don’t play videogames much.
“Fortnite” was published by North Carolina-based studio Epic Games and released in “early access” from last summer. That means it’s technically still in development, even though you can purchase it now for $59.99. The game is what’s known as an open-world survival game, in which players collect resources, make tools and weapons, and try to stay alive as long as possible.
The game is set on modern-day Earth, but most of humanity has disappeared. One of the game’s core mechanics is collecting materials to build protective fortifications.
A few months after its initial launch, Epic Games dropped “Fortnite Battle Royale,” a free mode using assets and gameplay elements from the main game in which 100 people square off against each other in a fight for survival — with the last living player crowned the winner.
This is when “Fortnite” really started to take off — 10 million people were playing within weeks of its release. The battle royale mode is what remains incredibly popular and what most people are talking about when they talk about “Fortnite.”
